Price, City Council: Herbert Bateman, Jr., Sharon Scott and Saundra Cherry; School Board: Gary B. Hunter (Note 1), T. Jeff Stodghill, Douglas C. Brown and Carlton Ashby.       Pitchfork Protest III 6pm   York Hall 301 Main Street Yorktown, VA    May want to arrive at 5:30 -- parking is limited.   York County Supervisors are getting ready to rezone land owned by as many as 4000-7000 landowners in YC and REMOVE existing farming rights. Delegates Brenda Pogge, Gordon Helsel & Rick Morris have agreed to speak.    The rally ends at 7pm when the Planning Commission meeting starts. Even if you can't make it to the rally, PLEASE COME TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING at 7pm. The meeting normally ends at 10pm.   Over 430 people have signed this petition... it will only take a minute and is free: https://www.change.org/petitions/don-wiggins-defend-property-rights-stop-rezoning-ordinance   This is not JUST about property rights, farming rights, cleaning the Bay & oysters. It is about stopping the abuse of power by our local elected officials. The Power of Property Rights   The surfer situation is viewed by some as anarchy.  Where people working out their conflicts without the use of government or third parties (i.e. without government).  They feel they must speak for those unable, therefore, injecting government is necessary.
