Hijra & Monday Night Meeting

Hopefully you have seen that in lieu of a regular  Middle Peninsula Tea Party meeting, the John Birch Society is making a presentation about what they do to preserve Liberty and our representative Democracy on Monday at 7 PM at the Hampton Inn in Gloucester just behind Wendy's off Rt 17. I hope you are able to be there!

But more... Join the Resistance!

The events of last night's 'Friday the 13th' Islam attack in Paris should help remind us that we are all at risk from the decisions made by liberals here and around the world.  Ironically the first group arrived yesterday in Louisiana on Friday the 13th as well! Not women and children escaping the ravages of war, mind you: military age men and the rate of 'resettlement is due to accelerate over the next months and years!

There are people still trying to stop the Islamification of America! Ann Corcoran is at the forefront:

Join the Resistance! In Virginia, we have the

Learn things you can do! Don't sit idly by, wringing your hands or covering your eyes and ears!    You MUST pick up your pen and you phone! (Gee, where'd I get that?)   Call or write the various people who are involved in making decisions that effect YOU!   Hit Facebook, Twitter, email, call in radio shows and what else?  Scream until you're heard!    If we each do just ONE thing everyday to make someone pause, we can make a difference!

Please start today - if only by sending this message to a few friends!

Thanks! ~

Sign Petition to Impeach IRS Commissioner

From Tea Party Patriots -

Three years ago, the Tea Party movement was savagely attacked by the Internal Revenue Service in an attempt to bully us into submission and silence.

Thousands of innocent grassroots conservatives like you and me found themselves on the receiving end of audits, threats, and onerous interrogations.

Years later, the IRS is still stonewalling. The IRS commissioner, John Koskinen, is defending the likes of Lois Lerner and her henchmen.

Thankfully, the Republican members of Congress are finally doing something about it. They have proposed a bill to impeach John Koskinen. We must back them up and ensure Koskinen is removed from office!

Please take a moment right now to sign Tea Party Patriots' National Petition to Remove John Koskinen from office, and urge all of your friends and family members to do the same.
Please click here to tell Congress that they must impeach John Koskinen from office.
Help Fund Trevor Loudon's 'Enemies Within' Film
Trevor Loudon was in town, recently. The famed commie-hunter from New Zealand said his upcoming documentary 'The Enemies Within' is about two-third's funded. The film, a follow-up to Trevor's book of the same title "expos[es] the communists, socialists and progressives within the U.S. Congress."

Donate to help finish the film here -
There are also investment opportunities available. Contact with 'Trevor Film' in the subject line. A member of ATP's executive committee has invested.

11/19    Martha Boneta Screening at Heritage

Farming in Fear premiered at the prestigious Anthem Film Festival on July 11 in Las Vegas, where it captured two awards: Best Short Documentary and Audience Choice. Farming in Fear tells the story of Martha Boneta, a young, idealistic woman who fulfills her childhood dream of buying and operating a small organic farm; but actions by a web of connected groups and individuals threaten to put her out of business.

Farming in Fear examines the nearly 10-year ordeal a local Virginia farmer fought in order to earn a living operating her small farm. Despite obstacles created by local government and personal attacks, Martha Boneta never gave up on her dream. The 28-minute documentary takes viewers through her battle, from the treatment she received from local officials to the introduction of the "Boneta Bill" - protection for small farmers ensuring that they will never experience what Martha did.

Join us for a screening of Farming in Fear followed by a conversation with

Loren got rave reviews at the seminar he gave us last year. Join us for a dinner program at the Harvest Moon in Falls Church.

Congrats to Anna Urman on Her Campaign
Congratulations to ATP member Anna Urman on her recent campaign for state delegate from 43rd district. Anna is one of a number of Tea Partiers around the country who have run for office. While not successful this time, Anna set a wonderful example for all of us to get more involved in our government. Republics cannot work without civic engagement; they were never meant to. Anna is already back in the fight, and we look forward to her future accomplishments.

We have momentum; pedal to the metal!

[Middle Peninsula Tea Party meeting RESCHEDULED for Oct 26!] & Guns

Mathews voters have a chance to help defeat our Democrat State Senator, who while a 'moderate' himself, votes as he in instructed on gun and abortion issues. If they need more motivation, read this word from our friends at Virginia Citizens Defense League:

In the last alert I mentioned two reasons that McAuliffe came up with the state agency gun ban:  he owes Bloomberg some payback for the million dollar campaign donation and McAuliffe wants to be Hillary's running mate.

But why now?  McAuliffe could have tried this last year or next year (closer to the Democrat primaries).

It wasn't an accident.  His timing was to activate his base with elections coming up in just a little over two weeks.  I think he's worried about getting control of the Senate, which currently is hanging by a thread and is in control of the Republicans.  He wants to motivate Democrats to vote.

But what he has actually done is angered Virginia's gun owners as I haven't seen in quite a while!  So while McAuliffe was trying to use a pole to poke his sleeping donkeys, the back of that pole just hit a hornet's nest and hornets don't tend to be all that forgiving when attacked.

While VCDL is continuing to look at what to do about the state agency gun bans, Virginia's gun owners can send McAuliffe a very painful message of their own on November 3rd.

McAuliffe desperately wants to get the Virginia Senate back into the hands of his anti-gun cohorts in the Democrat leadership, so he can block VCDL's efforts and push more gun control on all of us.

Gun owners need to slap that cup from his lips before he can even take a sip!

You, your family, your friends, your likeminded neighbors and co-workers NEED TO VOTE on November 3!  DO NOT SIT THIS OUT!  DO NOT!

Start talking to people NOW.  Offer them a ride to the polls.  On election day, contact everyone who said they were going to vote and make sure they don't forget.  Be sure to thank them after they vote.

If you think for any reason whatsoever, that you might not be able to vote on November 3rd, you can vote NOW.  Just head to your local registrar's office and they will let you vote in person.

VOTE!  So many races over the last 10 years have been razor thin, with well less than 100 votes having made the difference in some races.  Heck, McAuliffe won by a mere 2%!

If gun owners can keep the Senate away from McAuliffe in November, we will have sent a strong message that Virginia's citizens DO NOT WANT GUN CONTROL.  That message will resonate in the General Assembly and it will also bolster the hopes of gun owners across America, as all eyes will now be on our state.

And McAuliffe's tail will instinctively curl between his legs when he loses the Senate.

Outside money is pouring in to give McAuliffe control of the Senate.  Pro-gun Senator Dick Black (Loudoun, Prince William) is one of those targeted by the money that is going into his opponent's coffers from Gabby Giffords.  This is a serious threat and I hope that gun owners take it that way.

VCDL can do a lot of things, but VOTING is solely UP TO YOU.

If gun owners turn out in numbers, we can at least keep McAuliffe on a short leash as we wait for his term to end.  If we don't turn out, then you can bet he'll turn up the heat as he tries to placate Bloomberg and Hillary all the more.

If you haven't yet voted for RICHARD OTTINGER in the 6th Senate District race, why not? We need to send a Republican to Richmond!

Consider participating in this poll...

October 26 Mid-Pen Tea Party Meeting

The November Election will be a focus of our October 26 meeting! We hope to have representatives of each of our localities speak briefly about what their issues are and who might be the best candidates to achieve conservative results.

Democrats have money and hired hands but we have Scott Presler, an outstanding Republican 'Field Hand' from Norfolk to inspire us! Jean Marie Casanave met Scott when he worked in Houston and suggested he look us up. Scott has been an inspiration in his tireless efforts to sell the Republican brand.

In addition, we should have some of video clips of interest to attendees and time for anyone who wishes to share the concerns and activities they are working on... so be ready to share your concern or comments in 3 minutes or less!
  • Refugee Re-settlement?
  • Abortion?
  • Gun rights?
  • Effective Activism?
  • Terrorism?
  • You name it! Instruct us & recruit us! Bring whatever handouts you think are helpful!

The meeting will be held at the Hampton Inn behind Wendy's in Gloucester  at 7 PM on  Monday, Oct 26th
