[Middle Peninsula Tea Party meeting RESCHEDULED for Oct 26!] & Guns

Mathews voters have a chance to help defeat our Democrat State Senator, who while a 'moderate' himself, votes as he in instructed on gun and abortion issues. If they need more motivation, read this word from our friends at Virginia Citizens Defense League:

THE TIMING OF THE STATE AGENCY GUN BAN IS NOT HAPPENSTANCE

In the last alert I mentioned two reasons that McAuliffe came up with the state agency gun ban:  he owes Bloomberg some payback for the million dollar campaign donation and McAuliffe wants to be Hillary's running mate.

But why now?  McAuliffe could have tried this last year or next year (closer to the Democrat primaries).

It wasn't an accident.  His timing was to activate his base with elections coming up in just a little over two weeks.  I think he's worried about getting control of the Senate, which currently is hanging by a thread and is in control of the Republicans.  He wants to motivate Democrats to vote.

But what he has actually done is angered Virginia's gun owners as I haven't seen in quite a while!  So while McAuliffe was trying to use a pole to poke his sleeping donkeys, the back of that pole just hit a hornet's nest and hornets don't tend to be all that forgiving when attacked.

A CHANCE TO STRIKE BACK AND DEFEND OUR RIGHTS

While VCDL is continuing to look at what to do about the state agency gun bans, Virginia's gun owners can send McAuliffe a very painful message of their own on November 3rd.

McAuliffe desperately wants to get the Virginia Senate back into the hands of his anti-gun cohorts in the Democrat leadership, so he can block VCDL's efforts and push more gun control on all of us.

Gun owners need to slap that cup from his lips before he can even take a sip!

You, your family, your friends, your likeminded neighbors and co-workers NEED TO VOTE on November 3!  DO NOT SIT THIS OUT!  DO NOT!

Start talking to people NOW.  Offer them a ride to the polls.  On election day, contact everyone who said they were going to vote and make sure they don't forget.  Be sure to thank them after they vote.

If you think for any reason whatsoever, that you might not be able to vote on November 3rd, you can vote NOW.  Just head to your local registrar's office and they will let you vote in person.

VOTE!  So many races over the last 10 years have been razor thin, with well less than 100 votes having made the difference in some races.  Heck, McAuliffe won by a mere 2%!

YOUR VOTE COUNTS, DON'T BE "THAT GUY" WHO DOESN'T VOTE

If gun owners can keep the Senate away from McAuliffe in November, we will have sent a strong message that Virginia's citizens DO NOT WANT GUN CONTROL.  That message will resonate in the General Assembly and it will also bolster the hopes of gun owners across America, as all eyes will now be on our state.

And McAuliffe's tail will instinctively curl between his legs when he loses the Senate.

ANTI-GUN FORCES OUTSIDE OF VIRGINIA ARE AGAIN TRYING TO SEAL OUR FATE

Outside money is pouring in to give McAuliffe control of the Senate.  Pro-gun Senator Dick Black (Loudoun, Prince William) is one of those targeted by the money that is going into his opponent's coffers from Gabby Giffords.  This is a serious threat and I hope that gun owners take it that way.

VCDL can do a lot of things, but VOTING is solely UP TO YOU.

If gun owners turn out in numbers, we can at least keep McAuliffe on a short leash as we wait for his term to end.  If we don't turn out, then you can bet he'll turn up the heat as he tries to placate Bloomberg and Hillary all the more.

If you haven't yet voted for RICHARD OTTINGER in the 6th Senate District race, why not? We need to send a Republican to Richmond!

Consider participating in this poll...

October 26 Mid-Pen Tea Party Meeting

The November Election will be a focus of our October 26 meeting! We hope to have representatives of each of our localities speak briefly about what their issues are and who might be the best candidates to achieve conservative results.

Democrats have money and hired hands but we have Scott Presler, an outstanding Republican 'Field Hand' from Norfolk to inspire us! Jean Marie Casanave met Scott when he worked in Houston and suggested he look us up. Scott has been an inspiration in his tireless efforts to sell the Republican brand.

In addition, we should have some of video clips of interest to attendees and time for anyone who wishes to share the concerns and activities they are working on... so be ready to share your concern or comments in 3 minutes or less!
  • Refugee Re-settlement?
  • Abortion?
  • Gun rights?
  • Effective Activism?
  • Terrorism?
  • You name it! Instruct us & recruit us! Bring whatever handouts you think are helpful!

The meeting will be held at the Hampton Inn behind Wendy's in Gloucester  at 7 PM on  Monday, Oct 26th
