Strolling Supper
This Week's Top Pick 

Just last month, the best-of-the-best restaurants from Hampton Roads were chosen for the Hampton Roads Magazine Platinum Plates Awards. Now is your chance to try out their delicious dishes at WHRO's 4th Annual Strolling Supper Party on Sunday, Feb. 17 from 4-7 p.m. at Norfolk Waterside Marriott. This event will hold a silent food-themed auction and live entertainment while guests get to taste food samples from the best restaurants selected by HRM food editor and Platinum Plates critic Patrick Evans-Hylton and his team of judges. VIP ticket holders will enjoy entrance to the VIP lounge from 3-4 p.m. and a cooking demonstration by Las Vegas World Food Championship winners Team Chesapeake Bay chefs to include Executive Chef Travis Brust of Williamsburg Inn, winner of the World Chef Challenge, and his teammates Mike Ferrell, chef/owner of Still Worldly Eclectic Tapas in Portsmouth and Jerry Weihbrecht, chef/owner of Zoës Steak & Seafood Restaurant in Virginia Beach. Proceeds from the event will benefit WHRO.
