I am delighted to announce the final program for our Offshore Wind Town Hall on May 28, 7pm at Old Dominion University's Ted Constant Center. This is an exciting opportunity you won't want to miss!

Speakers include: ODU President John Broderick; Thomas Brostrøm, President at Ørsted North America; Mark Mitchell, Dominion Energy; Chris Gullickson, The Port of Virginia; Hayes Framme, Ørsted; Craig Poff, Avangrid Renewables; George Hagerman, ODU; Jim Spore, ReInvent Hampton Roads; John Warren, Director, Virginia Dept. of Mines, Minerals and Energy, and; Jen Palestrant, The SMART Center for Maritime and Transportation Education, Tidewater Community College.
The OSW Town Hall will outline the strategy behind positioning Hampton Roads as a national leader in wind energy. The town hall also features updates about ODU's efforts to convene talented leaders and thinkers from industry, non-profit organizations, and government to address the many economic and energy opportunities presented by offshore wind. Best of all, the program will close with a discussion on ways YOU can take action to get these turbines spinning!
This exciting event is free and open to the public with plenty of parking in the garage across from the Ted.

Finally, let me leave you with a fun fact to further inspire your attendance.
The Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project is will be America’s first turbines in federal waters!
