Hurricane Irene – Status of Debris Removal Operations Debris Removal Contractors began collections of vegetative storm debris on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, and will continue working throughout the County until all areas have received one pass. As of Monday, September 12, 2011, Contractors have cleared eligible storm debris from the public right of way on the below listed streets: Allendale Place Baldric Place Boathouse Cove Bolivar Drive Boulder Way Brittania Drive Bruton Drive Burnham Road Cannonball Court Catawba Court Catesby Lane Clipper Court Cobblestone Copeland Lane Copperfield Copse Way Corvette Drive Cove Court Cromwell Drive Crown Court Cub Court Dennis Drive Dolphin Drive East Branch Road Edale Avenue Erin Leigh Court Fishermans Cove Flintlock Road Foxfield Place Friars Court Galleon Court Glen Circle Grafton Station Ln Granite Place Hailsham Place Harbour Drive Harrop Lane Heath Place Heather Way Heron Court Hidden Harbor Hillside Lane Holcomb Drive Hunters Lane Huntingdon Road Jackson Circle Jethro Lane Jib Court Jonathan Junction Kenmar Drive Ketch Court King Richard Court Kyle Circle Little John Road Lookout Point Maid Marion Place Mallard Lane Manor House Court Marble Run McClellan Court Musket Drive N Will Scarlet Lane Naurene Court Nelson Drive Nottingham Road Old Glory Court Old Lakeside Drive Old Landing Road Old Railway Road Old Wormley Creek Rd Osprey Point Outrigger Court Paradise Point Road Percussion Road Poplar Point Road Prince Charles Road Queen Ann Drive Queens Drive East Ring Finger Court Royal Grant Drive Rudder Court Rusty Court Saxon Road Schooner Blvd Scott Drive Semple Road Shallow Lagoon Shea Lane Sheppard Drive Sheriffs Place Sherwood Drive Shield Lane Six Pence Court Sloop Court Spinnaker Way Spur Court St. Johns Court Starboard Court Susan Newton Lane Tabbs Lake Drive Three Point Court Tides Run Tiger Paw Path Tiger Run Trafalgar Court Valor Court Vinyard Lane West Semple Road Wallace Court Walters Lane Watermans Way Wellington Drive Whispering Pine Drive Willow Leaf Drive Winthrop Road Yacht Court Yardarm Court Contractors will continue or begin working in the following areas on Monday, September 12, 2011: District 1: Queens Lake, Skimino, and neighborhoods adjacent to Merrimac Trail, Humelsine Parkway, Naval Weapons Station, and Penniman Road areas District 2: Below Victory Boulevard, between Route 17 and Hampton Highway, including Tabb Lakes, Conventry and adjacent neighborhoods District 3: Marlbank and surrounding areas District 4: Neighborhoods between Dare Road and Lakeside Drive District 5: Neighborhoods between Victory Boulevard and Hampton Highway, including Running Man and Yorkshire Downs areas Please take note of the following information regarding storm debris removal efforts:
Residents should make every effort to bring all Hurricane Irene generated debris out to the public generated as a result of Hurricane Irene is not eligible for pick-up. Check back often, as we will update with additional information as it becomes available.
