Hurricane Irene – Status of Debris Removal Operations
Debris Removal Contractors began collections of vegetative storm debris on Tuesday, September 6, 2011,
and will continue working throughout the County until all areas have received one pass. As of Monday,
September 12, 2011, Contractors have cleared eligible storm debris from the public right of way on the

District 2: Below Victory Boulevard, between Route 17 and Hampton Highway, including
Tabb Lakes, Conventry and adjacent neighborhoods
District 3: Marlbank and surrounding areas
District 4: Neighborhoods between Dare Road and Lakeside Drive
District 5: Neighborhoods between Victory Boulevard and Hampton Highway,
including Running Man and Yorkshire Downs areas
Please take note of the following information regarding storm debris removal efforts:
Residents should make every effort to bring all Hurricane Irene generated debris out to the public
generated as a result of Hurricane Irene is not eligible for pick-up.
Only debris generated by Hurricane Irene is eligible for pickup. Regular yard debris that was notCheck back often, as we will update with additional information as it becomes available.
