Think the life of a dog is pretty easy? Think again. Underneath the tail wagging and face licking there's a hidden melancholy because they can't write Yelp reviews. Fortunately, Yelpers have shared some top spots on behalf of their four-legged friends. Sit and stay awhile — this week, we have a round-up of pooch-preferred places.

"This is by far my favorite dog park to bring the monster to. They supply a huge bowl and a hose for water and some random toys here and there. The best part of this place is the ramp into the river though... If you have a water dog, it's a blast."

"This place is great. Good drinks, good grub, dog-friendly outdoor patio. I love the amount of natural light available, the ample parking nearby, the dog treats in a jar, and the fact that it doesn't come off as pretentious or exclusive to the cool kids."

"I love that they have a dog park there. Cali, my basset hound, loves the interaction from both people and dogs alike. She's kinda a big deal there. There are poop bags and water provided for the dogs and covered benches for those sunny and hot days."
