For over 2000 years those two words have been defined by millions of people across the entire globe in similar but unique ways. How would you define "The Church"?
Join us this month as we explore God's Word and consider some assumptions we might make about the definition of these words, and how we may all need to be challenged by God's perspective in different ways. If you know anyone who has even been "churched out of church" please prayerfully consider going out of your way to invite them during this message series!
Wednesday Night Info
Each Wednesday in July we have something special planned. We will be gathering to fellowship and have a hotdog dinner from 5:30-6:30. During our normal scheduled service (6:30-8) will be having a combined worship teaching by our very own, Pastor Courtney Beard. Our normal Wednesday Night Classes will resume on
August 6th. More information to come about the classes offered.
It's Summer and GFree is doing something different for the month of July. Starting Wednesday, July 9th from 5:30-6:30 we are hosting the "GFree Summer Lounge." An hour of Games, Snacks, Music, and FUN held in the back classroom of FLC! It's a chance for students to connect and hangout before our Combined Wednesday Night services.
If you have been attending FLC and are ready to take the next step, please join us at our Covenant Partner Orientation. In this meeting Pastor Freddy will discuss- who we are, what we do, and why we do it. It is a great opportunity to connect with Pastor Freddy and other passionate FLC'ers.
Keep your eye out for the sign up sheet at the Information Desk.
FLC Men, This group is designed to give men an outlet for sharing their challenges and providing encouragement to their brothers in Christ. The group is led by Shannon Derr from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at FLC in the classroom to the right of the Coffee Station.
All men are invited to join us as we study God's Word, study books centered on Biblical principles, share testimonies, and challenge and encourage one another to confront personal issues from a biblical perspective.
As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Prov. 27:17
