Dear Friends,   We would like to take this moment to recognize the service members who bravely gave their lives this week amid the crisis in Afghanistan. The ultimate sacrifice they gave to keep us safe will forever be remembered.    Team Youngkin is praying for the families who lost a loved one this week and for those who are still in danger in Afghanistan.    With the tragedy that our country is currently facing, it is important that we remain unified in our fight for Virginia. As the campaign picks up, we have been busy meeting with supporters all over the Commonwealth.  I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to serve the community at the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank on Tuesday. It's organizations like this that make Virginia great! I was also blessed to be given a tour of the Proton Therapy Institute at Hampton University. They are doing great work everyday and continue to fight to find a cure for cancer!  Yesterday was a big day for our ticket! Jason Miyares and I were joined by former Governor George Allen, as we opened our Lynchburg campaign office. Feel free to stop by if you are in the area to meet our staff or pick up a yard sign. As our campaign picks up momentum, I believe it is essential that we emphasize unity not only on the campaign trail but also in our Country and Commonwealth.
