A Letter

Once upon a time, really not so long ago, the President of the United States waited at a red light along with the citizens he was elected to govern. Today, Caesar's chariot with full armed escort proceeds along cordoned off avenues. There are no red lights. There are no citizens.

Once upon a time, charity was a human characterization of the teachings of the Bible. Today we have "entitlements" based upon the political manipulations of the Ruling Oligarchy

We are a nation founded on the truths and Commandments of the Bible.  Many have heard the phrase, "Charity begins at home" which is a responsibility scribed in Timothy to reflect love to others, particularly other members of the Church family. Charity is to the benefit of the giver not the receiver. When your friends come to your aid, do you not require honesty to yourself and to them of your plight? Are not the souls of the givers uplifted and yours beholden?

Today, for political purpose, the Ruling Oligarchy attempts to replace charity with entitlements. A faceless bureaucrat gives, not of himself but of that taken from others, to a recipient who has no need to affirm to anyone, least of all to himself, his plight because the Federal benefit is not charity it is an entitlement. Entitlements give no benefit to the giver or obligation to the receiver. The Ruling Oligarchy is the only beneficiary.

The Ruling Oligarchy has replaced the good and righteous conditions of charity with entitlements. The question is, are we as a society prepared to remove entitlements from the clutches of the Ruling Oligarchy and pay the price to bring charity home?

Thank You from Jackson For Virginia

PR Email Header
URGENT! Last Week to Collect Signatures!
Dear Robert,

First, please accept my thanks for all the hard work our volunteers have done so far. I could not be more proud and gratified by the team of people I have been blessed to have around me. But today I must also sound the alarm!

With one week left I cannot yet report that we have the 15,000 signatures we need. We are getting closer day by day, but we do not have a moment to spare.  I believe based on the response from voters across the Commonwealth that we will win this primary and go on to defeat Tim Kaine.

Only one thing stands in the way - getting the signatures we need. We need every signature we can get. Just think, if in one district, just one, we get 399 signatures rather than the 400 we need certified, the whole campaign ends. That one extra signature you get could make the difference. I urge you to keep collecting signatures, wherever you can get them. With only one week left, this has to be my total focus. I trust you will place it very high if not at the very top of your list of priorities for the next week. We have come so far and accomplished so much. We cannot allow all of our effort to be in vain. Click here to get all the information you need to help today.

Yesterday I was in Richmond with volunteers. Today I will be in Northern Virginia. Tomorrow in Hampton Roads and Saturday back in Northern Virginia. We are going to collect signatures right up until the moment we have to turn them in next Thursday. On that very day we will be picking up signatures at a Gun Shop in Richmond that is collecting for us. We face our greatest challenges in the Northern Virginia, particularly in the 8th District - Arlington & Alexandria. If you know people there who might help, please let me or Greg know.

On Saturday, we will be in NOVA all day and we need volunteers. If you have the time to help us there or anywhere else, please call Greg at 757-373-4980. [greg@jacksonforvirginia.org].

If you live in NOVA, contact Audrey Dutton at 703-944-3071 [jamjafari@gmail.com] our NOVA Coordinator. I am asking all my supporters to make this final week of signature collection the most productive of the entire collection period.

There are copies of the petition forms, supporting information on our campaign and instructions on our site. Click here for more information.

Victory is well within our reach, but we have to stretch out to grab it. In doing so we will change Virginia American politics and set a new standard for who gets elected and how. We can demonstrate that power truly lies in the hands of the people when we take our rightful place as the true sovereigns of our Constitutional Republic. With your help and the favor of Almighty God we will get this done, no matter what it takes. God bless you for your courage, commitment and fortitude. And may God continue to bless our beloved country, and allow us to bequeath to our posterity a legacy as wonderful as what the Founding fathers gave to us. This is why we fight and this is what we are fighting for.

KEEP COLLECTING!

E.W. Jackson

P.S. Feel free to forward this email to this who are helping you collect signatures for us.ers like you make doing business a real pleasure.

A Letter

Paul Ryan, on behalf of the Republican caucus in the House, has put forth a proposed 2013 Budget. But, it is going nowhere because the Obama administration has not and does not want continued wrangling over individual budget items to cease. Unresolved budget issues allow Obama to issue Presidential orders to save the American people from the alleged harm caused by the Republican House. More power to the oligarchy.

That major issue aside, everyone in Washington says that entitlements are a problem and Medicare is the single biggest issue. Please allow me to review the bidding and ask two questions.

Medicare has four parts. Part A is funded by FICA taxes and funds in-hospital care. Part B, which funds doctor office visits, is funded by both appropriations by the Congress and contributions of about $100 extracted each month by the Federal Government from each Social Security beneficiary. Part C is a variation of Part B and funds the Medicare Advantage Program.  Part D is the prescription drug program totally funded by general revenue taxes.

If Part D is an entitlement like food stamps, totally funded by general revenue taxes, what is Part A which is funded by each of the several workers prior to their retirement so that they would have financial protection against catastrophic health care issues in later life? Is this not a catastrophic health care insurance program? I will not even address the status of Part B and the monthly forced payments extracted from retirees.

One cannot forget the administration's presentation to the Congress that affirmed that $500 Million or Billion was going to be taken from Medicare to help fund Medicaid. Exactly where is $500 B or M to come from? Surely not from the several American workers who contribute through FICA taxes into the Medicare Part A Trust Fund. But, if not from there, from where?

It is one thing to consider as "entitlements" those legislations which are funded by general revenue taxes, but should the benefits from mandated insurance policy premiums that fund the Medicare Part A Trust Fund be considered the same? I don't think so.

One then must ask why are both Republicans and Democrats and their respective media outlets silent on these answers?
