The town hall will take place this Monday, August 27, 2012, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at An Achievable Dream Middle and High School, 5720 Marshall Avenue in Newport News. This meeting will provide information on the Medicare program, including recent changes to the program enacted under the Affordable Care Act. Recent policy proposals that would make dramatic changes to the Medicare and Medicaid programs in order to balance the federal budget will also be discussed. I hope you will take the opportunity to learn more about these important issues and have your questions answered.
