| "Neighborhood Canvassing" with Americans for Prosperity Wednesday, August 29th @ 6pm Keagan's Restaurant 12551 Jefferson Ave, Ste 201 Newport News, VA 23602 We need your help! We need volunteers to canvass neighborhoods and phone bank. For us to have an impact, we must get to know our neighbors by discussing vital issues that affect our country. The Peninsula Tea Party has partnered with Americans for Prosperity (AFP) to canvass neighborhoods through a phone bank. AFP will be providing appetizers. We will also provide tips on how to canvass if you haven't already participated in a canvassing effort. We will also have materials for handing out as well. Tea Parties across the nation are having an impact on Washington DC thinking and it is time the Peninsula Tea Party start working to have a similar impact. To ensure a change in the White House and holding our federal, state and local officials accountable, it is inevitable that we begin to invest time in our benefits. We hold monthly educational meetings, publish weekly newsletters and now activities to ensure we reinstitute our Constitutional values. This can only be done if we work together. |
