| Peninsula Tea Party August Meeting with Americans for Prosperity Wednesday, August 29th @ 6pm Keagan's Restaurant 12551 Jefferson Ave, Ste 201 Newport News, VA 23602 We need your help! For us to have an impact, we must get to know our neighbors by discussing vital issues that affect our country. We need volunteers to canvass neighborhoods and phone bank. The Peninsula Tea Party has partnered with Americans for Prosperity (AFP) to canvass neighborhoods through a phone bank. AFP will provide appetizers for this event. Tea Parties across the nation are having an impact on DC thinking and their communities. To ensure we change DC and those holding federal, state and local offices, we must invest time in unison. We hold monthly educational meetings, publish weekly newsletters and conduct activities to ensure Constitutional values are instilled in our elected officials. This can only be done if we work together. |
| Peninsula Tea Party September Meeting "Tax Implications of Obamacare" Wednesday, September 26 @ 6:30pm Keagan's Restaurant 12551 Jefferson Ave, Ste 201 Newport News, VA 23602 Ray Nations will present taxes imposed through Obamacare. He owns a Liberty Tax Service franchise since 2008 and has practiced accounting since 1982. In July, Dr. Triepel discussed how Obamacare affects Doctor-Patient relationship and how it affects healthcare in general. Ray will discuss the taxes imduced by Health Care Act and how they'll affect us all. |
