Now through June 14, JES Construction will be collecting old, worn, tattered and/or frayed American flags. The flags will come from our employees, their friends and families, and anyone else in our communities. A Virginia Beach boy scout troop has kindly agreed to respectfully give them a proper farewell for us, because many people simply don’t know what to do with their old flags, and they know don’t want to throw them out with their trash. (!) Please bring your flags in need to 569 Central Drive, Suite 200 Virginia Beach, VA 23454; there will be a designated clean container for them, and they will be turned over to the boy scout troop early in June. Per the American Legion, you do not have to fold your flag in a certain way to leave it in the container, as there will be no displaying of the flag(s,) and our intent is completely respectful.
