As "We the people" grapple with the question of how to vote in November, perchance we should consider the cause of the strong feelings associated with this election. I would hold that it is not contraception, high gas prices or the economy. It is the realization of how imprisoned we, as a people, have become. We are no longer governed; we are ruled by an elite Oligarchy.
Some 2000 years ago, man- made institutions, both religious and secular, had positioned themselves between the children and their Father. God reaffirmed the bond between a Father and His children.
The cry to battle in the preamble to this nation's Declaration of Independence, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." articulated God's relationship to this nation's children. It is no accident that in the crafting of the Constitution that the Federal Government was only given certain enumerated powers.
Men, under the guise of "doing good" have again placed ruling institutions between the Father and His children. This election is merely a vehicle by which the children can begin to reaffirm their free and self-responsible relationship to their Father. The persona and political affiliation of the candidates are not relevant. The single mandate is the obligation to remove the barriers and reestablish the "self-evident truths".
His children are speaking. The election question is simple. Which candidate is listening?
